Company Terms and Conditions

1) Agreement For Work to be Completed:

There will be a 3% processing fee for electronic/online payments. By accepting the estimate and/or scheduling the project with Restoration Pressure Washing, you agree to give full access to your property exterior for work to be completed at an agreed-upon price and timeline. You understand that estimates provided by Restoration Pressure Washing will be adjusted/increased to include (but not limited to) extra labor and time required to address any unforeseen circumstances resulting from the customer's property hindering work completion, inaccurate information given by the customer, or preventative/protective measures such as bagging downspouts, unclogging gutter components, covering stained wood doors, certain electronics, fragile or ornamental vegetation, aquatic features with fish life, or other live animals.

2) Restricted Access & Encumbrances

If you have other events taking place on the property such as construction, parties, other contractors, or any other event that would slow down the process of work completion, you agree to additional charges for the extra time and labor. All gates and restrictions must be open and dealt with by the customer in advance.

3) Parking

You agree that all vehicles, trailers, containers, or other obstructions will be removed from the driveway before Restoration Pressure Washing technicians arrive. Additionally, you agree to leave all parking places directly in front of the home open for Restoration Pressure Washing to park their vehicles or trailers.

4) Video and Pictures:

You agree that Restoration Pressure Washing may take before and after pictures (and/or video) to ensure the safety of customer property as well as to protect Restoration Pressure Washing from undue liability. You agree that Restoration Pressure Washing may use pictures and video recordings for advertising, promotion, and social media content.

5) Water Usage:

By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Restoration Pressure Washing with the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.

6) Electrical Usage:

By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Restoration Pressure Washing the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.

7) Color and Tone Concerns:

The properties and species of wood age and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the stain. Note: Variances may occur on individual boards as well as the total project, as densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout the wood. Concrete may also show variances in color and tone due to the unique characteristics of that concrete including age, penetration depth of organics, and dirt, along with other stages of substance penetration. Restoration Pressure Washing and its associates attempt to represent the final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone you must expect some variance in the overall finish.

8) Courtesy:

While Restoration Pressure Washing is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as our own.

9) Payments:

Payments to Restoration Pressure Washing are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by cash, card or electric invoice. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing in our contract. Late charges will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred by Restoration Pressure Washing related to the collection process of outstanding balances.

10) Scheduling:

Scheduling in a business whose productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. We try our best to keep our arrival time within the 2-hour window provided but may show up slightly earlier or later. Additionally, inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes.

11) Removal & Replacement of Property Items and Contents:

Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters, and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the deck, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for the time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

12) Damages:

Restoration Pressure Washing is not responsible for damages or water penetration due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, improperly sealed, cracked, or defective electrical outlet covers/boxes, loose or improperly installed gutters/leaders and improper caulking. In every aluminum siding case and in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color or cause fading. Power/pressure washing, which entails the removal of chalky, gritty, or failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminum to stand out. Restoration Pressure Washing will not be responsible for such conditions. Restoration Pressure Washing will not be responsible for loose mortar or crack filler that may dislodge during the cleaning process.

13) Stains:

Some stains cannot be removed by power washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains, rust and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all.

14) Watertight:

Restoration Pressure Washing Services expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical services including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weathertight. Restoration Pressure Washing Services is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical-related items or doors or windows. Restoration Pressure Washing cannot guarantee the removal of artillery fungus from exterior house surfaces.

15) Window Spotting:

Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included.

16) Window Cleaning:

Window Cleaning Services are intended to provide a basic and satisfactory window clean: a scrub, wash, and squeegee dry (or pure droplets if using a pure water system) of the glass panes themselves. Interior window cleaning includes a basic wipe of the track but not a detailed deep clean of the track or cabinet system. Screen cleaning is an add-on. Window cleaning service does not include scraping paint from glass, removing construction matter, restoring glass damaged by elements or scratches, or re-cleaning glass that has been re-soiled by tree sap, bird droppings, bug content, or other debris after the technician has already cleaned the glass on the day of the project. Restoration is not responsible for environmental and circumstantial conditions involving the property that may affect the glass once its been cleaned.

17) Concrete:

The appearance of concrete depends on a number of factors most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured. When concrete with dirt, mold, mildew, algae, and other pollutants and stains is cleaned, the concrete will then reveal any and all imperfections that the pollutants and stains have covered up. The customer understands that not all concrete will look the same even on the same driveway, patio, sidewalk, or concrete slab.
